Welcome to the student engagement section of Luther's website! We hope that you'll find valuable information about our philosophy, services and programs, and the rich learning environment that your son or daughter will encounter at Luther. We've started to describe our residential campus as a 24/7 place—one where things are "happening" 24 hours each day, all 7 days each week!

For you new or prospective parents, the Dean for Student Engagement, Ashley Benson, has published a letter that is sent to parents of first-year students before their son or daughter begins at Luther. It covers important topics for parents to start discussing with their student.

Luther provides a comprehensive parents landing page for your quick reference. This page includes essential websites for critical information such as the academic calendar (great for planning), family weekend schedule and the parent portal among others. We encourage you to use this site as needed and as a means to keep abreast of what is available to support you as a parent of a Luther student.
