The department of Visual Media creates and produces content for Luther College’s photography and video communications.

Visual Media comprises the student-staffed Photo and Video Bureaus that are responsible for capturing photographs and producing videos used to promote Luther College, its programs, activities, students, and faculty. Visual Media functions include:

• Managing the video and photo bureaus to create videos and photos for use in printed and online Luther publications, to accompany press releases, and to distribute to appropriate off-campus media.
• Photo Bureau produces thousands of images a year used in a number of on-campus publications, national magazines, and collegiate advertising/marketing material.
• Video Bureau produces and posts some 40 videos each year.
