Luther is . . . active. With 19 intercollegiate sports teams and more than 30 intramural teams, Luther students definitely move. And it shows—since joining the American Rivers Conference in 1922, Luther has won an unmatched 246 conference titles. Luther student athletes have earned 28 individual national championships and 341 All-American honors.
Our students also enjoy the great trails that wind through Decorah’s bluffs and prairies. They borrow canoes or kayaks—for free!—from our Recreational Services Program and paddle down the Upper Iowa River. Or they borrow backpacks, tents, and sleeping bags—again, for free!—and go camping in the gorgeous Driftless Region.
