Denise (Kremin) Rust of Brooklyn Park, Minn., passed away on Nov. 3, 2021, at the age of 68. Denise was born in San Diego, Calif., to Lester and Anna Kremin. She earned a degree in social work from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She spent her adult years as a juvenile probation officer, Bible Study teacher, preschool aide, gym leader, world traveler, and voracious reader. She poured her heart and soul into her garden, which was a regular stop on local garden tours. She is survived by husband Jeff Rust of Brooklyn Park, Minn., as well as daughter Jamie Campos, son-in-law Ociel Campos, and granddaughter Victoria Campos of Vestavia Hills, Ala. A funeral was held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mounds View, Minn., on Nov. 13. We kindly ask donations to World Vision in her name.
