Decorah has taxi and shuttle services that will work with individuals or groups who need to make special arrangements for trips to La Crosse, WI; Rochester, MN; Iowa City; and other surrounding cities. You must call ahead to make arrangements.

Hometown Taxi

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC)

NEICAC-Transit is the public bus service in NE Iowa. Because they serve small town communities and rural areas, their services have been structured to meet the transportation needs of everyone. You can schedule local trips or make special arrangements for trips beyond the Decorah area such as the Rochester, MN airport.

There are no bus stops to find, instead the bus comes right to your location and takes you where you want to go. At Luther, the bus will pick you up and drop you off at the main door of the Union.

To request a public transit ride, please call (563) 382-8436. The Transit office is open Monday–Friday, 5AM–5PM (excluding major holidays). The Transit does request 24 hour notice if possible, but same day trip requests are accepted too, especially if the destinations are within Decorah.

Rochester Shuttle Service (between Rochester and Minneapolis airports)
