The business of animal health care requires a good understanding of the biology of disease and injury, as well as the ability to communicate with both animals and their humans.
If you're interested in providing leadership in the diagnosis and treatment of disease as well as promotion of health, you may want to pursue medicine.
If you're interested in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders that may impair or prevent normal function of an individual, physical therapy might be the field for you.
