Faculty members in the political science department often lead January Term courses off campus.

Professor Moeller has led many groups to Washington, D.C. and in recent years has participated in Paideia Capstone programs in London (English Theater: Mirror to Society), New Zealand (Humans Living with Nature), and Western Europe (Islam in Europe).

Professor Gardner has taken students to Northern Ireland (both for political science and Paideia Capstone credit) on five occasions.
