Employment or Continued Study in a Professional Program

After graduating with a Global Health major, our students will be qualified for positions as health program coordinators, policy analysts, and employees in various domestic and international health organizations.  With a bachelor’s degree in Global Health, Luther students will also be eligible to enroll in a Global Health, Public Health, or other health-related master’s program and may elect to pursue doctoral education to further their expertise.

With or without further study, our graduates will be poised to help alleviate the growing worldwide shortage of skilled health workers, projected to reach 15 million by 2030 (Liu et al. 2017). Upon graduation, professional organizations such as the Global Health Council can assist them in networking, locating professional positions that match their level of education and experience, and continuing their professional development in the field of global health.
