Education students have several opportunities to receive scholarships and grants.

Federal TEACH Grant 

Federal TEACH grants assist students intending to teach in a school that serves students from low-income families. For details, visit the Federal TEACH Grant page.

Departmental Scholarships

Friends and alumni of Luther College fund many annual and endowed scholarships and awards. These scholarships often have specific criteria for potential recipients involving financial need, academic program of study, etc. Luther's Financial Aid Office works closely with each academic department to award these scholarships to deserving candidates.

Awards are presented in the spring, for use the following academic year. Because selection is made by faculty, in cooperation with the Financial Aid Office, there is no need to apply. If you have questions, please see your department head.
