Research indicates there is a viable market for counselors and related professions. In fact, the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (2020) predicts a “much faster than average” employment rate in the next ten years in this category.  

Luther’s counseling minor is most directly beneficial to those pursuing traditional counseling degrees such as a master’s degree in counseling or social work.
